I'm Alex, founder of Taylor Property Collective, a specialist property management practice for Brisbane.
I have spent more than 10 years in residential property management, overseeing large property management departments and training more than 100 agencies across Australia and New Zealand in property management, trust accounting, compliance, systems and operational standards.
I later became a solicitor, with experience in litigation, commercial law and dispute resolution, including extensive QCAT appearances. I am also a qualified mediator.
That background shapes how I manage property. When a tenancy goes wrong, I already know how it plays out at the tribunal, so I manage it with that in mind from day one: proper records, correct process and early, practical resolution.
You should not have to manage the person managing your property. You should know what is happening, why it is happening and what your options are.
That is why I specialise. It means real knowledge of the suburbs, tenants and rental markets across Brisbane, applied to your property rather than just processed.

Before your property goes to market, I consider the rent, presentation, timing and anything else that could affect the quality of the tenancy. Once it is leased, Alex stays directly responsible, with a local's understanding of the market the property sits in.

Common questions
Will I always deal with Alex?
Yes. Taylor Property Collective is built around one accountable person. There is no rotating property manager, offshore team or call centre between you and your property.
What happens if there is a dispute with a tenant?
Alex is a solicitor and qualified mediator with extensive QCAT experience. Most disputes are best resolved early and without a hearing. If one does need to go further, your property is managed by someone who understands the process. Legal advice or representation is separate from property management and is not something Taylor Property Collective provides.
I'm under contract with my current agency. Can I still move?
Often, yes. Talk to Alex before you give notice. Alex can give you a property management view of your options. That is not legal advice on your agreement, and if you need that, you should get it independently.
Is this legal advice?
No. Taylor Property Collective provides property management services. Alex's legal and dispute resolution background informs how your property is managed, but it does not make the service a legal one. If you need legal advice, you should seek it from a lawyer independently.
